What's the colour analysis session about?

During this colour session, we will create your unique colour passport. A huge help when shopping for new items and for editing your wardrobe! You can also go all in and base your capsule wardrobe only on your best colours.

When you arrive, we will first have a chat about colour theory, and we discuss your specific questions.  Then, we get to know your colour season (based on the 12 seasons system) by a quick colour scan. I define this by 6 different collars that show different characteristics ( light/dark, cool/warm, bright/muted).

Now it is time for the real work! I shuffle 150 different coloured scarfs, and we select around 25 that suit you best. Those together form your unique rainbow,  and you will get the matching fabric samples in a passport.

I will ask you to bring 10 items that you wear close to your face (scarfs, tops or dresses). Together we check those items on colours and how you can combine them. When you brought patterned items, we will also look into those.

After our session,  I will send you an email with the learnings – f.e. which neutrals suit you best – inspiration on how to combine colours-  and our findings on which patterns suit best.

Personal Color Analysis Session

1. Introduction

Intro on traditional colour theory. We discuss you specific questions and we check your 10 items.

2. Colour season

Based on different coloured collars that each show a different colour characteristic ( muted vs bright etc.). We define your colour season (f.e. dark autumn, warm spring etc. this  you can use  for outfit inspiration on Pinterest too.)

3. Colour selection

I have 150 different coloured scarfs – which we test. We pick the colours that fit you best, and which make you feel good too. I give you suggestions on when and how to use the colour.

4. Pattern review

After the colour selection we look into your patterned items – what work best for you ?

5. Colour combi's

We will play with different colour combinations, and I will create your unique rainbow

The Colour pass

A custom made, unique and luxurious colour passport, with fabric swatches (worth 40 Euro). That you can use to pick clothes, patterns, accessories, and even make up with.

Two weeks after the session we have a short contact moment, in which we reflect on the color analysis session. An extra opportunity to ask me questions.

FAQ

Since we look at what naturally looks best on you, you should come without foundation, blush and lipstick. You can wear your usual eye- make up. And wearing a shirt without a collar/hoodie is also practical.

Next to that, you can bring 10 items (scarfs/dress/shirts) that we review together. When you sometimes wear glasses you can bring that too.

I look beyond the standard colour seasons and fans. Because most people are a mix of seasons, or want to use different colours for express themselves.

I include all the neutrals and the accent colours and together you have an even better palette than with a standard fan.

The colour season that fits you best is defined by your physical features. It is mostly dependent of your skin tone, but your hair and eye colour play a part too.

I define your season/type based on the initial colour characteristic check (what suits you better, light or dark, cool or warm and muted or bright). Then after selecting your best colours I can tell you which season is most similar to your unique rainbow.

I use a very elaborate analysis which is completely custom made. SO i do not work with standard fans, but define your best colours out of 150 different tones.

When you are having doubts of your earlier farbberatung, most of the time it was not accurate. Unfortunately, I had multiple times clients that were incorrectly assessed in a short analysis.

You can have varies reasons . Here are a few:

  1. To look even better: by knowing which colors flatter you, you look healthier, more radiant, and more put-together.

  2. To save time and money: By knowing which colors look best on you, you can shop more efficiently and avoid purchasing clothes and makeup that don’t suit you.

  3. To make better fashion choices: With your personal color palette, you can make more informed choices when it comes to fashion and style. This can help to build a wardrobe that is versatile and easy to mix and match.

  4. To create a signature style: By choosing a color palette that reflects your personality and style, you can create a unique and cohesive look.

Overall, a color analysis is a valuable tool for anyone who wants to look their best and feel more confident in their appearance.

No.

I want to give you the best advise there is. And virtual is just not as accurate as in person.

Virtual assesments are based on your own pictures and a questionnaire, and this is just less accurate, since light nuances can differ. This will make a difference in the accuracy of the analysis.
